Delete your account

You can delete your CheersFeed account yourself at any time — in the app, in four steps, without asking us. Deletion is immediate and final.

In the app

1. Open CheersFeed and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom, to Delete account.
3. Read the confirmation — it says what disappears.
4. Tap Delete permanently. That's it; you are signed out and the account is gone.

What is deleted

• Your login account at Firebase Authentication, including the email address.
• Your profile: @handle, display name, profile picture.
• All your moments — including both pictures in storage.
• Your reactions and seen markers.
• Friendships and open requests in both directions.
• Your devices and push tokens.
• Pinned moments and pinned recaps.
• Your memberships in rounds and your invite codes.
• Reports you have filed.

What remains

Other people's moments

Pictures you appear in belong to the person who took them. Ask them to delete the moment, or report it.

Operational logs

Backend access logs remain for the usual 30 days. They contain no pictures.

Reports about you

If someone reported one of your moments, the case remains for as long as accountability requires — without the deleted content.

Without the app

If you can no longer get into the app — device gone, access lost — write from your account's email address to support@cheersfeed.app with the subject „Delete account“. We handle it within 30 days and let you know when it is done.
