CheersFeedDE
DELETION

Delete your account

You can delete your CheersFeed account yourself at any time — in the app, in a few steps, without asking us. Deletion is immediate and final.

In the app

  1. Open CheersFeed and tap your profile picture, top right in the feed — that opens Settings.
  2. Scroll all the way down to Konto löschen (delete account).
  3. Read “Konto endgültig löschen?” (delete account for good?) and tap Endgültig löschen. With an Apple account you confirm once more with Apple.
  4. That’s it: you are signed out and the account is gone.

What gets deleted

  • Your sign-in account at Firebase Authentication, email address included; with Sign in with Apple, the app’s access at Apple is revoked as well.
  • Your profile: @handle, display name, profile picture, date of birth.
  • All your moments — both pictures in storage with them.
  • Your reactions and seen markers.
  • Your comments and your prosts on comments, plus every comment under your moments and rewinds.
  • Friendships, pending requests and blocks in both directions.
  • Your devices and push tokens.
  • Pinned moments and pinned rewinds.
  • Your memberships in rounds, your invite codes, the recorded waypoints of your routes, and join and home spots.
  • Rounds you started — for everyone who was in them. Their moments stay, just without the round.
  • Your imported history.
  • Reports you filed, and reports about your moments and comments.
  • Bug reports you sent, screenshots included — and their tickets on GitHub.

What stays

Other people’s moments
Pictures you appear in belong to the person who took them. Ask them to delete the moment, or report it.
Operational logs
Backend access logs remain for a few weeks. They contain no pictures.
Places you created
Public places stay on the map without a creator; private ones become invisible. To remove them entirely, delete them first.
On your device
Your drinks list and app settings stay local until you remove the app.

Without the app

If you cannot get into the app any more — device gone, access lost — write from the email address on your account to team@slackers.dev with the subject “Delete account”. We do it within 30 days and let you know when it is done.

What we stored about you until deletion is set out in the privacy policy.
